Michael’s Place offers guidance and aftercare support to community members who have experienced a death, along with education and training to help prepare businesses and school communities in the event of a death.

It’s important to note that Michael’s Place is not a crisis center. All inquiries be will responded to as soon as possible during the business hours of M-TH, 9:00am-4:00pm, unless other arrangements have been made.

School-Based Initiative

Michael’s Place provides assistance to school communities through in-school support groups, guidance and training to schools to develop bereavement response plans, and assistance following the death of a school community member

Compassionate Workplace

Michael’s Place supports businesses and community organizations that have experienced the death of an employee or community member.

Community Education & Training

In addition to customized training available to schools and businesses, Michaels’ Place offers educational presentations to community groups and organizations on grief-related topics
