Getting Started

We ask that you attend an initial informational session prior to coming to your first support group meeting. This meeting will help you understand more about Michael’s Place and how our groups work.   • It’s important to note that Michael’s Place is not a crisis center. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in need of immediate emotional support or are experiencing thoughts of suicide, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
  • Michael’s Place follows the TCAPS inclement weather policy and all programming is canceled on snow days.
  • Michael’s Place observes major holidays and is closed the week of TCAPS spring break, week of Cherry Festival, and week of Christmas-New Year’s.
