Join us for a Therapeutic Sound session led by Courtney Miller from Sound Studio “Bgoji Jiibikoon” (Wild Roots) Wednesday, November 6th, 12:30-2:30pm This 90-minute session will focus on areas of the body that hold all the electricity that revolves around thought forms of Sadness, Grief, Loss, Resentment, and over-accommodating others.
Michael’s Place is looking for volunteers to help facilitate peer support groups. Our support group facilitators provide a safe, caring environment for children and adults grieving the death of a loved one. Join us Thursday, November 14th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hagerty Center for an evening of connection that offers solace and inspiration during a challenging season. This event is offered in collaboration with Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Hospice of Michigan, Heartland Hospice, and Monarch Home Health Services.
A seated yoga practice followed by coffee and conversation. Occurs on the 4th Wednesdays, monthly. Seated Yoga – 10:00am-11:00am.
