Celebrating 25 Years of Restoring Hope
Michael's Place provides grief support services throughout northern lower Michigan.
Since 2001, Michael’s Place has been a trusted source of grief support in northern Michigan. In 2026, we proudly celebrate 25 years of compassionate service to children, adults, and the broader community. Throughout this time, we have provided individualized grief support through programs, resources, and educational services designed to meet people where they are. Our personalized approach honors each person’s unique experience of loss and supports them as they navigate grief and move toward healing.

Thank you to all of the kind supporters who make our work possible.
Most families suffering the loss of a loved one are already burdened with financial hardship. That is why Michael’s Place board and supporters strongly believe that all who grieve should have the opportunity to receive grief support services without cost. We are a non-profit organization supported by our volunteers and contributions from people like you. Thank you very sincerely for supporting our mission.
