Getting Started

Bereaved Parent's Group
Support group for parents who are grieving the loss of a child.
Twice Monthly, Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm.

Bereaved Spouse Group
Support group for adults who are grieving the loss of a spouse or partner.
Two Options Available:
Twice Monthly, Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm and Twice Monthly, Tuesdays, 9:30 – 10:30 am.

Adult Loss of Parent Group
Begins in April!
Grief support for adults who have experienced the death of a parent.
Twice Monthly on Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm.

Coffee and Conversation
Coffee & Conversation is not a formal support group, but an opportunity to connect with other grieving adults in a relaxed, conversational atmosphere.
Twice Monthly on Wednesdays, 9:45-10:30am.

Mindfulness & Grief
In this program, we will provide empathetic guidance and introduce mindfulness-based exercises as we explore various aspects of grief.
Second Tuesday each month, 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

GriefShare
National grief support program offered at Michael’s Place in partnership with East Bay Calvary Church.

It’s important to note that Michael’s Place is not a crisis center. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Michael’s Place is open M-Th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm, with extended evening and weekend hours for programming.

Michael’s Place follows the TCAPS inclement weather policy, and all programming is canceled on snow days.
- Michael’s Place observes major holidays and is closed the week of TCAPS spring break, the week of Cherry Festival and the week of Christmas-New Year’s.
